The History Group are currently researching the Saxon period in our local area as, in 2018, we found dateable Anglo-Saxon remains at our excavation on Holcombe Moor.

• Sourcing, copying and translation of grants of charter.
• Plotting and recording the route of Pilgrim ways.
• Sourcing and aquiring whatever academic information is available.
• Supporting the Group‘s archaeological investigation.
